I'd like to add more bananas in my diet to increase my sugar intake and decrease my fat intake from nuts.
Does anyone have *simple* (less than 5 minutes) recipes to make eating bananas less boring?
Thanks

Blend them into puddings, freeze them and make ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, fruit sorbet), slice them and make romaine lettuce fruit burritos...

I often eat them in romaine for lunch, simple and tasty
Fork them together with some plumped up goji berries and maca
Into the blender with some hemp butter + cacao
Made into fruit leathers, kept on batch.. then can eat with fruit, greens, nuts, sauces..whatever you fancy!

i usually just eat bananas straight up....do you really find them boring...to me they are NEVER boring....
or to get more bananas in, i blend them (real ripe) with water....
banana burritoes are good too, put a banana, a date or two (without pit) wrap romaine lettuce leaf around...its great...
bananas are a staple for me; i eat at around 10-13 a day...i am super active...

Role in Honey or agave and then roll in cacao, nuts, rasins or seed of your choice.
Make fruit leather. Takes more than 5 mn the first time but you can make a bach for the week.

One of my favorite desserts before I went raw was bananas foster.
So, I blend up a raw version with spring water or almond milk as the base; a banana or two; a TON of cinnamon, sometimes a little ginger for good measure, and (as soon as I can find it) raw organic rum flavoring (it still tastes delish without it though). Soooo yummy and addictive!

I used to love that too, it was also my favorite desert! I once tried to make a raw version but still set it on fire (the fire wouldn't last long enough to cook it much at all), unfortunately I found that cold rum doesn't light on fire so I had to toss it in a pan and warm it up for it to light. Maybe next time I can heat the rum a little and then pour it over and light it, but heating alcohol can be dangerous.
Thanks for the ideas everyone.
1 apple
2 bananas
agave or honey
cinnamon or almond butter
peel, core, and pulse apple in processor. add in bananas and choice of other ingredients and blend to the consistency of oatmeal.

JEN, that sounds great, thanks. I'll definately try that one too. By the way, I would not peel the apples, the most vitamins are there, we eat raw to preserve vitamins, so I always keep edible peels on because they usually have the most nutrients.

150g blueberries, 1 banana, 1/2 avocado blended.
frozen bananas blended with redcurrants - heavenly icecream.
200g kale blended with 4 bananas and water - easy green smoothie
bananas eaten in the same mouthful as brazil nuts. reminds me of banana sandwiches.
flax crackers made into banana sandwiches.
i find it hard not to eat too many bananas - I add them to all my smoothies, and would like to add them to all my desserts. Frozen bananas added to smoothies take them to a new high.

I like to thickly slice bananas and press a walnut or pecan into them. It looks surprisingly fancy and it is very easy. It looks a bit like a cookie or petit four.

We also like to slice them and sprinkle cinnamon on them. Then we drizzle a little agave over them.
