There are no meet-ups here. There is nothing. I would really like to get together with some raw foodies and have a potluck or something. Does anyone live in the area who would be interested? I am in central Maine. All of the raw restaurants are so far away. I would love to go to one or more :D "someday".

I am considering relocating to CT/Mass! I would strongly suggest you go to www.meetup.com and start your own meetup group.

It is a FANTASTIC and very easy way to meet people. A whole new world opened up for me when I joined a raw meetup here in Seattle (there are currently four raw meetups just in MY area)! When I relocate if I am unable to find a local raw meetup I know I will set up one ASAP :)

There are not currently any meet-ups inthe area. I have never been to a meet-up before and I don't know if I would be able to start and/organize one. I did sign up to be notified if anyone else starts one. It is something to think about but with six children, three dogs, and one very patient husband I just don't know if I have the time for organizing something like that, you know?

I too have been noting the lack of raw meetups here in most of Maine (there is a potluck in very very southern Maine one Saturday of the month), so I decided to take it on.
I'll be hosting the first Raw Maine meetup on Sunday June 29th at 5PM in Yarmouth ME just off of I-295 between exits 17 & 15
