I like the one from Rawvolution - I add a little bit of dried tomato power this time a year since the hot house tomato's do not have much taste.

i bumped this up because i just took a batch of wheat seed ide soaked just over 30 hours and threw it into a pot of spaghetti sauce i chopped up of toma / greenpepper/onion/garlic/oregano/basil/evoo/crushedredpepperflakes . now im letting it soak til the wheat absorbs all the liquids and its hopefully raw spaghetti sauce seasoned wheat seeds .

Interesting flavors. I'll have to try it. I make a similiar sauce seasoned with oregano, basil, and thyme. I like to sweeten it with a soaked date and enhance the color by adding a small slice of beet.

michigan roman, be sure to post how you like your creation. Did the wheat seeds sprout? If you don't like it, how about dehydrating it for a snack food...?

only a few of the seeds had sprouted tiny tails . a point in the batch of soaking seeds that i think too early as the sauce really isnt being absorbed quickly into the seeds currently . i think it would have worked better if ide let the seeds soaked another 10 hours or so to further soften . though havent tasted yet because ive been so seriously glutonizing over the holidays ive no appetite remaining :o . time o year for sit ups + fasting

3-5 fresh tomatoes
about a cup sundried tomatoes soaked
1-2 dates pitted and soaked
fresh garlic (I use 1-2 cloves but use more if you love garlic)
sea salt
fresh oregano
fresh italian parsley
fresh basil

I rarely follow recipes but this is what I use and my picky 20 yr old daughter loves it. First I pulse up the herbs in the processor and empty into a bowl. Then blend sundried tomatoes and dates pretty well. Add in garlic, sea salt, and fresh tomatoes, starting with about 2 tomatoes chopped into a few pieces and blend with other ingredients. Add more fresh tomatoes until you reach the desired consistancy you like. I like mine thick so I always make sure not to put too many fresh tomatoes in at first as I can always add more. Add fresh herbs back in and blend one more time. I serve this over zucchini pasta with diced onions, mushrooms and bell peppers. In the winter I toss these diced veggies in olive oil and warm in the dehydrator. Yum!!

Jenny Cornbleet's recipe is great. You can search for it on YouTube.

Ooo... I'm glad I stumbled across this thread. I think zucchini pasta is going to be an absolute staple for me. Zucchini is pretty inexpensive and SO taste. Great veggie for sauces.

I'll have to try a tomato one-- do the sundried tomatoes amp up the flavor/sweetness?

I am going to make a spinach and tomato (heavier on spinach thougH) one tonight with lots of pesto in it.

I. Can't. Wait.
