Hi folks!!!
Sorry to bother ya again!!
I've been reading several books regarding fasting and one of them was pretty catastrophic.
I do not want to spend money in going to see the doc.
Next week I'm going to start the MC with Ana.
The fast will last 10 days (at least our bodies request more or less) Do we need to go to see the doctor? At any of the books (even at the MC one) it's said, but it's said on one of them. I've also read if you are overweight, you can't do it either.
Ana and I have been vegan for one year (we did not abuse junk food)
We are also raw 100% (with green smoothies) for two month (will be next week more or less)
We also do a 1 day week juice fasting (every Sunday) 1st one was last Sunday and 2nd one will be this Sunday. Next Wednesday our MC starts.
I've stopped smoking two years ago ( and when I did, I've smoked an average of 5 cigarettes a day) Ana was just a passive smoker... but she never smoked.
We either drink alcoholic drinks nor other drugs.
We exercise, not every day, but we do.
I'm 5'10 and right now I'm 202 pounds
Ana is 5'08'' and she is 240 pounds.
Thanks a lot guys!!!!
We really appreciate it!

As someone who's not seen a doctor since 1980 and who has used her own body as a lab through various "diets" and stages and continues to do so, I guess my answer would be "no".

So then, I'm fine to do the fast and I do not need to visit any doctor, right?

It's your body, your responsibility. Do with it what you wish. I'm not going to tell you what to do with your body. You own it... don't you?

Ana is 5'08'' and she is 240 pounds. However, she has big tits, so it's not all "fat"
Um, is Ana okay with you referring to her "big tits" on a public forum? I'm hardly a feminist or a prude, but I think I personally wouldn't appreciate it if my boyfriend made this comment about me in this way.
Good luck with your master cleanse nonetheless.

I'm saying it by the good way... I'm not flaming here...I've found it the easy way to say it... lol... did not want to offend... Thought it might help on the overweight thing... anyway, I removed it.
Ravvell... I'm asking for advice! I have no idea that's why I'm asking... you do not need to be that rude... gee...

Okie doke about the boobs. You didn't have to remove it, but thank you.
I have noticed that if you don't receive the information the way you want to hear it, the other person is perceived as "rude" or "cold". Just my observation and I wanted to clarify, not to get in your business but just to say it is a discussion forum and you asked for help and information. I'm a little confused...

Maybe I got her words wrong as well too then... Or I did not understand the statement probably.
I've just told my situation and if it was safe to get the MC or if I needed to visit a doctor before. She told me that it's my body and my decision... I think I'm confused too.
I've did not got the information correctly I think...

I'm not going to speak for Revvell, but my interpretation is we all have to listen to our bodies. I think this is what she was trying to share with you, that she doesn't rely on traditional medicine to tell her what's up with her body or which direction to take for healing purposes.
I think it was compliment to you actually to simply trust your intuition and listen to your body. Start the master cleanse and monitor yourself daily. I started with a 30 day master cleanse the first time I ever fasted. It's more of a mental process than anything else.
That's my take and I think you will really reap great benefits from it, but again listen to your body and don't worry too much about collecting a lot of data. This is just my opinion and of course you can approach it anyway that feels comfortable to you.
I think most people who are on this forum genuinely want to help and share. We're all human of course and not always angels, but I really believe this after being here for a few months, getting support myself. It hasn't always been what I wanted to hear and I perceived some people as being less than nice too when they were just being blatantly honest with me and direct. Sometimes the true path to healing includes putting the ego aside. I'm still working on it myself, so there's no judgement towards you on my part.
If you need to read a good book on the MC, I highly recommend Tom Woloshyn's "The Complete Master Cleanse". His lives in Toronto and has completed 1000 MC's. He's a protege of Stanley Burroughs' and really knows his stuff.
Good luck!

Gos... now I feel ashemed...
I forgot completely about the "hear my body"
I've read one of the books and good scared because it said terrible things... (even that I've read several fasting books, even one from a doctor and even the MC one (the small one) Lol...
Sorry Ravvell....
