The biggest thing that is helping me stay raw is to keep focusing on what I can eat. When I tried going raw before I would get focused on what I couldn't eat anymore On what I had to give up . By thinking about all the things I can eat I find that I am able to pick from that list and not think about stuff I can't eat.

I stopped eating cooked because I have had chronic pain for 20 years so It is easier and easier to stick with this and things are tasting better and better every day. Last night I forgot to put some salad away and so it was sitting there on the counter all warm this morning . I ate it just like that and it tasted
so good.

This time I really feel like I am on a roll. I don't keep thinking I can't do this. I keep thinking how much easier it is this time around. :D

Really great advice. Focusing on the things we get to eat and how delicious and nurturing the food is is key to success. Thanks for posting this as a great reminder. :)

Sound like a beautiful approach and it makes so much sense.

Congratulations!

it does make a lot of sence!

if we think about what we Can't have...we still THINK ABOUT it, entertain the thought so to say.. so anyway- great job!

I've only been back to 100% for four days, but it has also been easier this time around. I too have been focusing on what I can have, things I know I like (instead of trying a bunch of new recipes) and making sure I'm full.

I'm so glad you are having an easier time too. ;)

As a newbie, and who is still making slip-ups, I totally agree with this!
What I am trying to remember(after I've eaten something that was not good for me)that are so-o many cool recipes to try that if one gets going on that, you don't even think about your old foods!
