I've been reading threads about people throwing their entire fruit into the Vita-mix, seeds and all, even though apple seeds obviously have cyanide. From what people are saying, the cyanide amounts are so small it's harmless.
So it made me wonder, why not sprout apple seeds/pear seeds/etc. and throw them into the Vitamix with the rest of your smoothie ingredients? Surely it couldn't be any more harmful than the seeds themselves. Or do they sprout more cyanide right along with them?
(Side note: I was delighted tonight to see that my garlic had sprouted. Maybe this is normal, but I had never seen that since I always bought the canned stuff before I went raw! Kinda cool! :D)
