My doctor told me I have Staph. I get huge pimples in the uncommon areas. and they take a long time to heal. I was prescribed two types of medcine. is there a way to treat staph naturally? I did a 30 day cleanse and would hate to take medcine

Wild oil of oregano internally and externally. Juicing always helpful for long term healing. I would ditch the drugs, but that is obviously a personal decision.

My dog gets staph infections on her skin all the time because she has really bad allergies and so her immune system is compromised. They normally give her Cephalexin. Well, I have been spending money like there is no tomorrow at the vet and noticed 2 days ago that she is getting another staph infection on her belly. I put coconut oil on it, and within one day was already starting to look better. I put more on last night and will recheck when I get home today and give you an update. I swear that Coconut oil is the best thing since... sliced bread??? Nah, since spinach!

My Yorkie had horrible recurring staph infections on her belly when she was about 2 years old. Round after round of drugs only made it worse - both the staph and her overall health (shudder to think what would have happened if I had not changed course). That was my light bulb moment, and the very beginning of my health journey (this was about 14 years ago). I actually questioned the vet (bad patient!) when she recommended the 5th round of drugs, and she did not like that at all (imagine that!). Her defensive response sparked a rebellion in me, and I went home, opened the phone book, found a holistic vet who specialized in nutrition, homeopathy, acupuncture (all the good stuff).

Changed her diet to 'real food', stopped using chemicals and drugs, stopped vaccinating and within weeks her health completely turned around. She is now 16 and going strong - raw fed for the past 10 years along with supportive nutritional supplements and some homeopathy over the years.

I will forever be grateful to that little dog for being my teacher!

thanks for your reply however arent human skin different from animal skin? I have been very high raw for over year plus i have recently completed a 30 day juice fast. to be honest the symptoms did not show until i became raw so i thought it was detox. the symptons turned into sores that did not heal. the doctors told me i must take two medicine. i would like to know if someone has cure themselves via holistic way

Manuka Oil is another natural topical that is very powerful...Be careful with the medicine...I have experienced a long-lasting reaction to an antibiotic that is looking to be permanent, as have others so please read side effects carefully and imagine what you might do if you fall into the "1%" category of people who get the severe adverse reactions...It happens more often than one might think and doctors do not adequately inform patients of the risks

My first reply that I would use wild oil of oregano internally & externally as well as lots of juicing for long term healing was to you. The reply about my dog was to Annie who posted about her dog's staph infections, but I thought it was a good example of how the body can heal and how drugs are not the answer (both human and animal).

Sorry about the confusion, but in my experiences it is the same (except for some nutritional requirement differences). I would do the same for my dog (use the wild oil of oregano) and work on the immune system. And, I would avoid drugs if it were me or my dogs.

Whatever our bodies (or our dog's bodies) are trying to tell us when we experience symptoms (detox or not) is not that we need drugs. That is only a temporary solution at best, and can create more serious problems down the road even if most people never make the connection.

I was just responding about how coconut oil seems to be a miracle cure for loads of things. It has antibacterial properties and although human and dog skin is genetically different, I think it may help. I have been using it to wash my face and my skin has never looked better. I also use it for deoderant and have to admit that I was a smelly girl when I used store bought deoderant. I would bathe and put it on in the morning and would have to rewash and reapply in the evening if I was going out somewhere. Now, with the coconut oil, I can even go a day without bathing and I don't smell!!! :D

Annielauri, this is so interesting. Do you just apply coconut oil right to your armpits? (Please forgive my ignorance.) Do you use organic oil?

GreenJB5, my family has healed many ailments with homeopathy. I highly recommend seeing a homeopath. I hope that you feel better soon.

I have read that you can use Grapefruit Seed Extract to treat Staph.

Best of luck,
