I just made Gabriel Cousens' Savorty Spicy Pecan Loaf as it's 1000 calories and it said it tasted like sausage. Well I followed the recipe exactly and it's quite terrible, I'm forcing myself to eat it not to waste 1000 much needed calories.

The problems I noticed is it seems way too salty and lime-ey (I always use lime instead of lemon).

I think with less salt and lime it would be a lot better.

Has anyone else tries this recipe? If you haven't, I'd recommend using less salt and lime/lemon if ever you plan to.

My Heart goes out to you. I have not tried that Recipe but I did find the Salty problem with Onion Bread. I have since started tasting as I make something new because our Palates are different.

Sometimes the Nano and Soy are just too Salty and it would be wise to just use Sea Salt. I made meat loaf once and just ate it everyday because I had such an investment in it. Then I had to chuck it because I was tired of it and could not use it in anything else...........
