How to make headings BOLD?

I am a computer novice, but not so afraid to ask questions anymore. I notice that some, actually lots, of the posts' headings are in bold print and I would like to know how to do this? Is it a simple little thing that someone could teach me? Thanks for your help - actually, ALISSA, thanks so much for this forum!! I am so grateful.:D

You can't make them bold. They are automatically bold until you click on it to read it and then they are no longer bold until someone posts a new post to it. So basically, when you see bold headlines that means that either the thread itself is new, or there is a new post that has been posted to it that you've not read yet.
