I am a collector of kitchen tools and as I have been raw, I am even worse at it. Today, in celebration of me, I went to Bath, Bed and Beyond to purchase a mango spliter and ended up with a corn scraper too; both by Oxo:

These tools are great!! Excellent clean-up

OOOOOHHHHHHHHH!
AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
(I might have to bless myself with a mango splitter in the summer)
Your'e just like me when it comes to gadgets.. My money is funny (tight budget) right now but if I could afford to, I'd be buying up some gadgets. Some people buy expensive clothes, purses, jewelry, etc.... but give me a good book and some kitchen gadgets and I feel blessed

Do you find that the corn scraper works well? I tried one once, and found it terribly frustrating - it was easier using a knife.

No, Lollipop, I did not have any mess. It worked well, although, I had to go back and scrape the cobs for the milk. I am pleased.
