I have 2 questions I am hoping to get answered.
1) A few months ago I bought MaraNatha Raw Almond Butter and it tastes great but I found it expensive so I found an online source that was less expensive and placed an order for it. The brand is Artisana Raw Organic Almond Nut Butter. The difference between the two at first glace is one is Organic and one isn’t so was very curious to see the difference in taste thinking the Organic would be like heaven compared to the non-organic Almond nut butter. However when I tried the Artisana brand it tastes like they added Almond extract to it. Is this the natural taste that the non-organic brand is missing? Or does Artisana actually add almond extra to taste better? Which is sort of funny cause I absolutely hate the taste of almond extract and now have 3 rather large jars of there product which I do not find enjoyable in the least. I did buy 6 jars of their Raw Organic Cashew Butter which is simply amazing. Can any one clear this issue up? If they do add extract they own me a refund. If not, I will stick to the MaraNatha non-organic Almond Nut butter which I find way more enjoyable.
2) Second question. I get Frederic Patenaude’s emails which state that you should not eat sweet fruit with nut butters as it will not combine properly. I love banana and nut butters and sad to hear that they can’t be eaten together. So when should you eat nut butters and with what food will it combine with properly and still be enjoyable to eat?
I have asked silly questions like this before here and have anyways had great well informative answers so I know I have come to the right place. I thank you all in advance your time.
Cheers
Dennis
