Hi guys!!!

Some of you know I'm planning to get a Master Cleanse 10 day with Ana.

I've love to archive culture regarding health, foods and stuff (that's why I'm raw 100%)

I've been lately getting several books regarding fastings.

In addition fasting with Master Cleanse two or three times year, I've learned that it's wonderful if you can fast for 24h or 36 hours every week. Juice fast.

I've decided to Fast every Sunday. Saturday light dinner, go to sleep. Sunday fast during the entire day and go to sleep. Monday, a smaller smoothie that regular for breakfast and a light lunch with fruit. Dinner and until next Saturday, regular raw diet.

My question is... I know how to do the Master Cleanse, but regarding the 36h one I did not find in the book how many juices should I drink during the day. Does somebody know??? Thanks!!

Hey there Chicagoan. I like what Andre has posted over in the discussion threads about just listening to your body and not following any rules. I think you'll naturally gravitate to what juices your body seems to want on your fasting day. For example, maybe one Sunday it just wants celery juice and perhaps the next you're juicing up a storm with combo greens, vegetable or fruit juices. Maybe other days you'll want to fast with mono meals, like just a piece of a particular fruit.

Just sharing my own thoughts on the subject as I grow and expand with detoxifying and rebuilding my body.

I'm going to start doing something similar. I will be water fasting one day a week. I haven't decided which day of the week yet, but will start next week.

Good luck to you and Ana.

Trust your own wisdom. :)

I go for water only fasts as well. Most weeks I fast for 36 hours, sometimes a little longer, sometimes just 24 hours. I'm lightening up a bit on fasting now that biking season is here, just because I'm so physically active biking, swimming, yoga, and free weights. But when I know I'm going to miss a day or two of biking or swimming, I fast. This weekend, we're driving to Colorado and I'll fast for the trip and make a 36 hour fast out of it. It's easy to fast while travelling, I find. And I'll fast more and longer perhaps when the cooler weather sets in.
