I'm curious about how the weight lose works while being raw. I'm a 100% raw vegan since over a month.

I'm male and I'm 5'10'' When I started the raw journey I was 240 pounds. I always weight my self on Saturdays mornings after going to eliminate (very first moment I wake up)

I've been loosing pounds every week. Last week I was 204.5 pounds. Today I was hopping to hit the 100s... however, when I weighted myself I was 206!! I've been eating like when I started being raw. Is that normal?? I hear on females is normal to loose a minor amount or not to lose at all. But on males? It's normal to even gain pound and a half?

I've been working out at the gym, but I did not muscle tone, I've just done cardios like elliptical, treadmill, biking and stepped.

Thanks!!!

Even cardio builds muscle. Check out your thighs/calves.

Really? Maybe that's why... I've been working at a higer intensity this week at the gym.

Well... I can't either check my belly (is were I acummulate almost all my overweight) Because I always see it the same (even when I've lost 6 pounds in a week)

How can I know I'm loosing unnecessary weight if I get muscle tone??

Measure. The tape tells all.

Ya know alot of things account for weight that you wouldn't think of - food still in the body, water, ....

Yeah, I am going to take out the tape measure myself. I have been doing mostly smoothies and I got to 216 lbs, now for some reason I am back up to 223. It could be a combination of things. Arm strength training, salt aka water retention, yoga, my walking.

If I look at my scale, i will drive myself nuts.
