I had a wonderfully tasty smoothie today and just had to share!

1 basket strawberries
1/2 pineapple
1 bunch parsley
1/2 inch of fresh ginger

Enjoy!

I've never put ginger into my smoothies but it seems like I see alot of you do it. It just seems like it would be sooo over powering. How is it?

I put ginger in my smoothie every morning, it's absolutely delicious. I only use about 1/2" slice though.

I will have to buy some strawberries and try this one!

Hi Jacsam -

I find ginger to be a wonderful invigorating addition to smoothies. I believe it also helps with digestion, making our "cold" foods more "warming" (traditional chinese medicine reference).

If you juice ginger (versus adding it to a smoothie via blender), it can get very intense. Still great, though.
