I was a HUGE chips and hot sauce fan when I lived in Texas...and I still am. What's your favorite raw tomato salsa recipe?

My 10 yr old son makes this for us every 2-3 days, it's a staple in our house:

4-5 organic tomatoes chopped
2-3 scallions chopped
1 whole jalapeno finely diced
at least 1/2 bunch cilantro finely chopped
2 tsp cumin seed, ground with a mortor&pestle
1 tsp sea salt
juice of one lime

It is sooo good! Lucky me, this kid is a raw chef in the making.

So yummy...I can't wait to try out some raw salsa. It's been so long since I've had any salsa...just haven't gotten around to making it.

Can anyone direct me to a corn chip recipe that utilizes fresh corn?

Just tried this recipe with some raw corn chips I made...it was only supposed to be a taste and it was so good I couldn't stop eating it! I managed to save some for later. :o

I found out through making salsa that I really like scallions. I've never had them before...they are really non-offensive to me.

Great for raw food because they offer a mellow oniony flavor in the background instead of a really over-powering bite.

I personally really like Alissa's standard salsa, by the way. I haven't had any other raw salsas.
