Has anyone used SoyQuick or Soybella soy milk maker for making nut milk? I have wanted to get one for some time now but I was just curious if they leave nut pulp (residue) in the milk and if so how noticeable is it? The kids like it pulpless. Which one does everyone perfer? I want to make a purchase soon hopefully. Also what mix of nuts makes the most bland or mild tasting nut milk? I like almonds but I think my kids like something with a little less taste. Thanks everyone.

i like using cashews because there really isn't any need to strain it and it tastes yummy!

the nuts blend very well after the initial soaking (6-24 hours... )

you can also add just a little sweetner of your choice like honey
cinnamon is also nice

Do you use cashews in the blender or in a soy milk maker? Cashews does sound good and I am trying to eat some foods that will give me a little fat since I'm going back to the gym and usually tend to lose weight if I'm not careful and I need to gain since I'm already skinny. Thanks for the suggestion

I have a soyabella and it does leave a bit of pulp in the milk. I don't drink it plain, and it doesn't bother me in cereal, since it isn't noticeable. I like walnut with a little maple syrup (I know, not raw, but so tasty!), that would be great for kids.
I've made hemp milk, which has very little pulp, but has a strong taste that might not appeal to a kid. But who knows?
One last thing about the soyabella, it's a SNAP to clean up, often if I'm in a rush, I just rinse everything off and it's clean enough for me!
