View Full Version : Anyone use Liquid Cayenne Extract

in their lemonade instead of powder ? If so how much .....I don't want to ruin a batch so I thought I try and get some feedback.

Start with a few drops and add more to taste. Without knowing the strength of it and what YOUR tastes are and what YOU can stand, hard to tell. Be the experiment for you!

Yeah~ I was thinking that was my only option. I guess 1 tsp would be far more than 1 tsp dry... Thanks..

Cayenne extract is SOOOOOO much more potent than the powder. I would make your green lemonade and pour yourself a glass and then put the smallest drop in that you can and even that might be too much. I've used it many times and it is POTENT, one drop goes more than a long ways.

You know, I thought it would be but I used a whole dropper in a gallon and I can hardly taste it....weird.....maybe it's all hanging out in the bottom of the jug and I'll get a big "whozza rush" :rolleyes: ! I am careful not to get any on my hands though!
