Fresh coconut substitute please

I am going to make these:

and my HFS was all out of coconuts. For the icing, I think I've read before that you can sub dried coconut for the fresh if you mix it with some water. Anyone know the proportions and anyone tried this or have other ideas? Thanks!

Yeah you can just sub dried coconut, you may need some lechtin or ground flax..

Just do it by eye.. I made some coconut frosting last weekend for cake..it held up well!

Cant wait to see them :D
