Youtube is full of videos on raw food. Just type in "raw food" in the youtube search box (with quotation marks), and view away. Or search youtube for your favorite rawfood expert (David Wolfe, Victoria Boutenko, etc)

There's also some here:

http://rawfoodmedia.com/

And expertvillage.com has many (again, type in "raw food" in search box)
http://www.expertvillage.com/

And some more here:

http://gliving.tv/videos/

Almost all of the Gliving Greenchefs videos have raw food recipes, look in particular for Vanessa Sherwood, she has some unbelievable videos.

On youtube there are HEAPS!

In particular, look up the users freshtopia, valerie1969, feralfoods (they're also on youtube), and aniphyo, karenknowler, and there are many more. Just type in 'raw food recipe' into youtube and check it out.

I have heaps of recipe videos, but I'd have to go through them to find out where they all came from.

Also, go to itunes. There you can download a heap of vodcasts of raw recipes for free. Freshtopia and gliving (called The Real G!) are on there and you can subscribe and get the latest vids from them, but there are heaps more.

Tonight when I come home I'll compile a list of the vids I have that I think are good recipes or have helpful demonstrations of methods. There are so many!

Steve, where in Beaverton are you from? I live in Aloha

Hi eavleaf. I live near Farmington and Murray.

Went to the Hillsboro farmers market last Saturday (first day open). Almost no produce yet, too early, except for some pairs from the Columbia Gorge. Lots of starter plants and house plants though.

Now that I've converted to 100% raw, looking forward to the Beaverton farmers market this summer (opens this Saturday).

Steve

BTW, where do you shop for food? Within a few minutes of me New Seasons has the best organic produce section. Whole Foods is probably equal, but a little more out of the way (I've been to the one at the Bridgeport mall and checked out the new one near Tanasbourne that opened a couple weeks ago)

Hi Beth,

Klomasium, I like that!

By the way, you never have to apologise to me about asking for help, I'm always willing to help out if I can :) .

I can be a bit of a duncehead when it comes to tech, but I think this is how I got itunes up and running for myself:

Go to www.itunes.com

Click on the 'Download itunes' on the top right hand side, just under the search window.

You'll now be able to see 'download itunes 7.6 now', underneath that is two little circle one with Windows XP or Vista and one is Vista (64 bit). Click on the right type of operating system you have (if you don't know, it's probably the XP one), click that.

Then click the 'Download itunes free' blue bar and it will download. Then save it where you want it.

I saved mine to my desktop because I use it lots.

Also, there are other video players that allow you to download from places like youtube, vimeo etc. which comes in handy as some of the itunes files are quite large and if you don't mind a loss of quality to save space then this might also be an option.

Email me if you have any issues!

this will probably be one of the most informative sets of videos you'll ever see regarding health:
go to you tube and type in "david wolfe on calcium" there are seven parts. do yourself (and your bones) a HUGE favour and watch ALL seven.

other than that you could type in:
raw food
or
raw food recipes - to get how to videos
or
raw food documentaries - lots will pop up

i think i have literally watched everything on youtube regarding raw,
have fun!

Bugger!

I made a long post and pressed something stupid and now it's gone!

But anyway, just another quick list of youtube vids and channels that are interesting.

'arnoldsway' is a really informative channel, mostly nutrition and stuff. 'RawFoodPower' documents a really lovely and vibrant woman on a raw food journey of 100 days (she's on day 26th), very entertaining and she's really down to earth, I've subscribed to her.

Now here's a fantastic trailer for an upcoming documentary of a group of average Americans with diabetes (cos lets face it, these days that IS average!) who are followed on a journey through 30 days raw and make a 'miraculous' recovery.

Check it out here:

Like Jenjen, I too think I must have watched all the raw food videos on youtube!

You can type in any of the big raw food advocate's names into the search widow and come up with videos of them talking, making recipes etc.

And I type in 'raw food' on a weekly basis to see what's new.

I'm sending you a BIG ((HUG))!!!!!!!!!
You've so helpful, my hubby went to Itunes and he got it up but he's having trouble pulling up the raw videos.
He'll go back to it later on tonight i hope.
I'm so sorry you hit the wrong button and all your hard work disappeared.
Thanks again.

No problems Bethanie, I'm happy I could help!

Let me know if you need a hand with searching for the videos, they are called 'podcasts' in itunes. On the left hand side of the window that comes up after you open the program, there is the 'iTunes Store' click on that and it will take you to the store.

In the top right hand corner is a little window, underneath it it says 'Search iTunes Store' type 'raw food' into this and you'll come up with HEAPS! Some are just sound files, like radio, some are videos.

Don't forget to also search for 'The Real G!' and 'Freshtopia' too. Really good raw food vids.

Many of these are free to download and subscribe to, some cost.

Instead of a list of good raw food videos, I thinks it's better to just show someone where to get them from by directing them to websites and channels/users etc. People have such different tastes and focusses.

But I can still compile that list of what I have if you like! :D

I can do it, i can be 100% raw.
I'm getting to the place where i crave 100% raw food, cooked food doesn't appeal to me anymore.
It is a work in progress but i will win this:) i'm feeling like a new person, reborn.
You're a doll for posting the videos.

Excellent Bethanie, sounds like you're doing great!

Hope the itunes thing is solved soon. Hope you have decent bandwidth allowances through your internet provider, there's lots on there.

Keep up the great work!

Type in "raw food prep", it's not a lot and they are mixed in but they are some good one there.

JenJen - I'm usually not such a big David Wolfe fan, but upon reading your suggestion 3 weeks ago, I watched the 7 David Wolfe on calcium videos and I loved them. A real eye opener. And I have never experienced as strong a detoxifyer as msm.
