Super H Mart! and how long do coconuts last

I went to this new store down the street called Super H Mart - it is a oriental supermarket. Their produce is AWESOME and beautiful! They have durians that are 99 cents per lb. I was going to get one but wasn't sure if I wanted to try one yet. They had really nice avocados for 50 cents each. I bought young coconuts for 75 cents each (4) and some kale that was 64 cents per lb.

My question is - do I refrigerate my young coconuts? How long do they last?

I live in the Dallas area btw.

We have Hmart here in Aurora, CO. At least it is something similar.

I don't go there often as not convenient in location. I refrigerate my coconuts and they can last for weeks before the shell shows signs of eating or tossing quickly. I don't think they are much into organics. I heard Dallas has large farmer's market. Not sure on organics however.

i was wondering about that myself (coconuts)

75 cents!!! oh my the cheapest i found them for was $1.29 ... and i was afraid to buy 2 boxes -wasn't sure if they'll be good.. i usually consume one box a week but it's a 40 minute drive to get those coconuts uh. since they can last for weeks though i might get several boxes next time!!

It's abouit 35 minute drive for me but that's a quick one I have mastered.

They do last and many times several weeks. For me, refrigerate is key.
