The only thing that made it better for me was raw :(
Makes me feel miserable about being cooked again, waah.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. Just wanted to let you know I feel for you. Hope you feel better. <3

Thanks you 2. :) It's just so ANNOYING. It's painful to sit, stand, lie down. I hate it. And to top it off I don't need those lil buggery-eggs anymore, so it's a real waste of my bodies time, energy, and my patience! LOL!

Mittelschmerz is period pain right?
I have mine right now too - the last two days lots of pain. today better - it is always two days too.
Raw doesn't help me - the only time in my life when I didn't have any was when I was working out at the gym everyday for like 2 hours. I can't do that anymore so I just have to deal with it. So I think exercise is the key for me but I can't do that much exercise all the time.
(I am guilty of popping some pills to help me deal with it so I can sleep though - but I prefer not too).
I tried taking some herbs once and it sort of worked but you have to take them all the time not just during your period. It was very expensive.
I can't wait until menopause either. I don't want my eggs either.

Zaph & Queen: Are you sure it's not endometriosis?

Ugh, me too. I actually had to leave school early, it was that bad =( I can commiserate, I'm sorry.

Mittelschmerz is painful ovulation. I don't think it's endometriosis, altho I'm not very familiar with it. But I have had 3 cesareans and the drs/midwives have always said my uterus and ovaries "look great". whatever that means. :p

I've had mittelschmerz every other month since I had surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. I can surely tell which side I'm ovulating from, that's for sure. I so hope raw can help that (I'm a newbie, not 100%).
I hope it gets better for you. I know how uncomfortable it can be.
How long does yours last? Mine usually hits me in the mid afternoon and I'm down for the rest of the day. It hurts to straighten up so I walk all hunched over, go to bed early and, thankfully, it's usually gone by morning.
