re Alissa's mashed "potatoes"

Good morning, all you dear Rawbies. I want to have mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy for supper and noticed the recipe in Alissa's book, page 289, calls for 2 cups of water. Is that correct? It just seemed like a lot to me and I sure don't want to mess this recipe up as I will be quite hungry! Would someone please confirm this for me? It's right after listing the 2 cups of soaked cashews. This 2 cups of water isn't referring to the water that you are suppposed to soak the cashews in, is it? Bear with me please?:o
