last weekend at the Berkeley Bowl

I picked up organic avos for 69 cents each and a few

conventional ones for 49 cents each!!!

If you guys ever come out to Cali, please go to the Berkeley Bowl - you will lose your mind

The produce section alone is as big as a regular grocery store and they're like 15 different kinds of each veggie & fruit. A entire two long rows dedicated to bananas from around the world for example. I would've taken a picture, but it was crowded and I didn't want to look goofy...lol.


My first visit there and I'm still in awe.

Ha! ha! Yeah patty. I'm in Avon Park/Sebring....and am pigging out even as we speak...heh....heh. I zipped through Lakeland last Friday on my way back from Plant City to visit the strawberries. :)

Yum! Plant City strawberries! They are soooo good. One of my neighbors opened a strawberry farm this year using hydroponics. A couple of weeks ago I got 15 pounds of self-picked strawberries for $4. Of course, it's now California's turn, so no more strawberries from Florida. Blueberry time though!

On a vacation last year I discovered raw food at a conference. The vacation that just won't go away! And I fell in love with the redwoods and Yosemete Park. Can't wait to go back.
