Milkweed

I read that this can be foraged, and tastes like aspargus when cooked. Anyone know if it's good raw?

DON'T eat milkweed!!!!! It will make you vomit for weeks! The reason that monarch butterflies are so successful is because they have adapted so that their caterpillars can eat milkweed. Nothing eats the butterflies because they have the poisonous milkweed still in them.

I repeat, don't eat milkweed. Get a good book about foraging for food. I am currently writing a raw foraging guide which will be available on my website in a few months. In the meantime, stay safe.
