Hi! I have a good friend that called this morning and commented that I knew about eating healthy and ask if I knew anything about the best way to lower his cholesterol levels -- what foods would be best. Of course I'm thinking > All Raw. But before I scare the living daylights out of this meat loving man, I thought I'd ask for your testimonies.
Let us know how high and what you did to lower your levels. Please and Thank you.
Blessings! BD

My cholesterol was 264, after 3 months cooked vegan it dropped to 200. I can't wait to see what it will be after 3 months raw. So, my suggestion, plenty of fruits and vegetabales, drop the dairy, drop the meat, add nuts and olive oil to make sure he gets some healthy fats so the good to bad cholesterol ratios stay good. If he's just looking to add a miracle food to his SAD diet, Quaker says their oatmeal will do it. Of course they are in the business of selling oatmeal.

My cholesterol responds well to plenty of exercise. My testimony is that when I was eating all raw, but more fat (olives, avos), it lowered, but not as much as I wanted it to. It responded a lot better to a lower fat diet. Hope that helps.

I don't have any personal testimony, but I recently read that broccoli sprouts are excellent for lowering cholesterol. You or your friend may want to google for more info.
