i know the benefits of juicing and raw food... but seem to have lost myself and have been having trouble getting back what i had. :(

i am hoping to see a significant difference by juicing and green smoothies with lots of spinach, parsley, celery, beet etc...
and what i truly need is a lift.. to get that happy go lucky feeling back!!

what i picked up was == spinach, parsley, tomatoes, celery, ginger, sweet potatos, beets, cabbage, pears, avocado, banana, carrots, cucumbers, squash, sesame and sunflower seeds, lentils.....oh and raisens!!

i am just hoping to see a DIFFERENCE in my mental well being.....
:( sometimes.. you just feel like you are going thru such a funk!! and especially now..... i need a JOLT, something significant!!

last year.. i was introducing raw food to my diet.... green smoothies and juicing, which i was totally into!! felt great.... BUT NOW...
i feel as if i have just fell apart.. literally!!
most of how i feel, i know is just situational....... due to having a recent injury, which is taking way too long to heal (3 month now....) Needless to say, stuck in house, unhappy, feeling lost, self worth is down, cry a lot... etc..
it's like PMS symtoms 24/7!! we all can relate to that...... and it stinks! ugh!!

anyway..... i don't mean to sound so dramatic..
i am just planning on working on juicing to hopefully get some of myself back and see the motivation, energy and mental clarity i once had! :)

Smoothies make a quick, fast meal, all I have to do is put water in the Vita-Mix, pulse it and it is clean. Now the Juicer, I have to take it apart and clean Everything. So I do Smoothies more often.

Green smoothies I am convinced have kept me going through the intense months of this past winter. I began drinking them last fall ~ maybe would miss a day a week but my immune system, mental well being and energy without a doubt has increased because of their consumption. I have also always being anemic and know I must no longer be because of my incorporating daily greens in the raw form. I also have suffered from depression on and off all my life. Other than moving to a sunny climate to "cure" light deprivation the raw food diet is so beneficial.
I wish you all the best and by starting with GS, an easy blender food I know you'll notice the benefits.
