I searched for a thread on this without much luck, so forgive me if this has been asked before.

My Cuisinart isn't cutting it since I started doing raw foods (it's like 10 years old at least), and I am looking into getting a new food processor. Which one do you recommend and why? Obviously I need something that can hold up to the multiple uses daily raw food routine :p

Quality is of most importance, with price being secondary (not that I'm of the "money is no object" income, just that if it's a good quality machine, it's an investment).

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

So you are saying my Cuisinart food processor is going to die in 10 years? :D
I bought mine last year and haven't used it very much now that I have a juicer and a blender. But it works great and since it's my first food processor, I can only recommend that brand. ;)

Actually, no, not at all- my Cuisinart is still going strong, really. It's just that its a 4-cup model and I think we really need a bigger one, because it isn't cutting it with some things. I just have a desire to upgrade and I want something that will last and last.

We have the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth 14 Cup Food Processor.

It's great. We've only had it a year, so I can't attest to staying power, but it IS still going as strong as it did the very first day. It's HUGE, plenty enough room for my family of 5. And I love, love, love not having to cut everything to fit a tiny little mouth ... you can throw whole foods in, and the machine chops 'em right up.

Extremely affordable, too.

Whoa, 14 cups! That seems gigantic compared to mine! :D
