What is wrong with me? Am I lacking something I should be eating? Am I just losing my mind? I seem to be at the edge of my mind this week. What am I doing wrong? :(

Without knowing what you ARE doing, hard to tell. Maybe nothing.

I usually have a veggie juice for breakfast. I eat fruit later on and usually before every meal. I try to eat at least one big salad every day. I eat almonds every couple days, guacamole almost every day, salsa is another staple in my diet. I was eating corn chips but have recently tried to cut them out because they aren't raw and I so want to be 100% raw. My juice was different this week because I was trying to use of the veggies I had originally planned to use for a veggie soup. I'll try to remember more...

how long have you been raw? from the looks of your sig line... not long at all.

sounds like detoxing to me.

of course eating SAD foods makes me grumpy... may be the SAD foods you are eating as well.

What Aleesha said..

Also, I find personally that I get crabby if I am not eating enough fats. I read somewhere that experiments with the initial Pritikin diet found that people were becoming irritable, and the addition of fats seemed to solve this, so maybe there's something to my fat thing.

Hang in there! Sticking it out and see if it goes away, if it does it's probably detox, if it doesn't it might be a sign of something lacking that can be fixed with experimentation.

All of the above... but what worked for me ... almost immediately -- taking a vitamin B complex with B12 in it... lol! needless to say -- my husband was so grateful to see the change... and I was too - cuz I was seriously very very http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/Crab.gif !!!

I would go to your health food store and ask them to suggest an excellent natural B12/Bcomplex... and give it a whirl!

hope you are felling better soon....

Hello there,

What you are experiencing could be a temporary reaction to removing some foods from your diet that you were previously addicted to without realizing it.

I've found that some of my clients don't feel well for a little while after completely eliminating all refined products and grains. These products are highly addictive, both physically and emotionally and you can feel out of sorts for a little while until your body completely clears them out.

Stick with raw and you will feel MUCH better soon!

Many raw blessings,

Audrey

Well, since Lucy's not here right now, I'll say it for here: Two words "Green Smoothies".

What I would do though is add some avocadoes or nuts to the blend. They'll ground you.

Remember also, it's not always JUST about the food. What else is going on in your life?

Don't worry, you're not losing it! Are you just starting into raw? I was SOOOOOO grouchy the first three days into raw. Not that I wanted to be, I was just flowing with irritability and anger. My DH was a little confused and asked if this was what raw food was going to be about, maybe I needed a little steak! I told him I was pretty sure I was detoxing and what, was I never grouchy when I was eating meat?? Sure enough, the first three days were the worst, and after a week, I was FINE! Once in awhile I'll have a few grouchy hours, mostly when hungry or tired.

Thanks everyone. I am feeling a little better today. I thought it might be some detox but it seemed to be lasting so long and has sprung up so suddenly I wasn't sure. I am going to look into the B vitamin though. I am nurisng my almost 5 month old and my twins so it is very possible I could be lacking something.:o

Absolutely B vitamins help me. But why take a pill? Try E3Live, and bee pollen/royal jelly (if you aren't allergic).

How much do those cost and where can I find them? Here in El Paso they don't sell very many things.

Go somewhere and have a big old snot dripping, slobbery cry. Cuss, fuss, scream, kick a tire.

Then take a walk, up your fruit especially avos, have some good sex and watch a comedy video.

Yeah all in that order, all in one day!!!;)

Your yoni, brain and heart will appreciate you later!!!

I felt really irritable, well more like angry for a good few weeks. I cant really imagine it now though. I think there is truth to the notion that cooked food supresses emotions. I cried alot too.

Love it!!! Instead of "trying" to suppress what you're feeling, go deeper into and through your feelings.

They are expensive, I won't kid you. But I consider then nutritional absolutes.

I buy Royal Jelly w/ Bee Pollen & Propolis from this company:
http://www.pureroyaljelly.com/products.html
Check out the properties of royal jelly:
http://www.pureroyaljelly.com/royaljelly.html
Bee Pollen:
http://www.pureroyaljelly.com/pollen.html
Propolis:
http://www.pureroyaljelly.com/propolis.html

I buy one jar of raw honey that contains all three of these in it, and it lasts me a long time. And in the raw honey, it actually tastes good. ;)

E3Live you can get here:
http://www.e3live.com/
I buy this one:
http://www.e3live.com/all_products/e3live.html?SID=68f7c1767975ba9beddc8354c705038f
Though they have lots of different kinds to choose from, powders, pills, and some are even flavoured to make them taste better.

"Nutritionally, E3Live™ provides 64 easily absorbed vitamins, minerals and enzymes and has more biologically active chlorophyll than any known food. It is the most nutrient dense food known to mankind."

It is also the only source I know of for natural, raw B12. The complete nutritional profile for 1 T of E3Live is here:

Hope this helps. :)
