Hi all,

I am new to this group. I am 51 and have had health issues for 12 years but have had digestive ones my whole life. I have severe allergies to gluten, dairy, eggs and yeast and molds. If I eat any of those things I have a really bad reaction that lasts for hours and has sent me to the ER on several occasions. I have antihistamines on me at all times just in case.

My challenge is a lot of bloating. I take a lot of digestive enzymes and betaine hydrochloride which helps.

I am thinking about getting the therapeutic enzymes but am afraid I'll have a reaction to them unless they are hypo-allergenic.(Since I am allergic to yeast,I am worried that the enzymes are gotten from yeast or fungi).

Does anyone know about that?

Thank you so much for listening,
June

P.S.Today I got a really bad headache.Is that detox?

I have similar allergies and find that some supplements do give me a bad reaction. (naturemade is the only one that doesn't for some reason but I don't take any at this point)

If you are eating more raw foods and juices etc you should be getting all the enzymes you need to digest. Some bloating happened with me for a few weeks in the beginning too...I would suggest stopping the enzymes and letting the food heal you. Keep it simple to keep from accidently adding an allergen into your body. This is of course a personal decision...just my 2 cents to give the food and your body a chance on their own.

Drink lotsa water.:) Eat your greenies!:D
