I am just recently hearing about the benefits of coconut oil. I placed an order on Alissa's store for coconut butter. Is there a difference between oil and butter?

Im 98% sure that they are both the same product, coconut butter is when the oil is cool so it sets and the oil is just the butter. People in hot areas will have oil, people in cooler climates have butter.

coconut butter has some of the coconut meat in it... so it's a heavier meatier yet smooth consistency...
think of the difference between say -- peanut oil verses peanut butter...
that's what you have with coconut oil and coconut butter....
coconut oil is considered coconut oil whether it is in liquid form or solid form. I believe it starts to melt at about 72 degrees??? or something like that... but the properties are the same... it is the PURE oils from the coconut -- no meat. just oil.
hope that helps!!

So, are the health benefits in the oil or the butter. Also, will it be labeled oil/butter?
