cacao powder as coffee replacement

I'm just wondering if any of you drink hot cacao powder in place of coffee, and if the caffeine therein has a similar effect... Greatly appreciate any thoughts, answers, suggestions etc, thanks!:D

I do sometimes. I warm the water really warm but not hot then mix in the cacao powder and a little raw agave and it's delicious. Works just like coffee used to for me.

The cacao has something in it that makes the brain happy. I end up not caring if I get caffeine or not. I just feel wonderful! Much happier than drinking tea.
