There's protein in ALL living food. Let me repeat that ~ There is protein in ALL living food. Dark leafy greens tend to contain more than many others. So, yes.

Lots. 2 cups of chopped kale has 4.4 grams.

Are you kidding me?
30% of the calories in spinach come from protein. We need only 10% of our calories from protein daily. Thus, spinach has TONS of protein. Blended into a smoothie or juiced with some fruit, that protein will be quickly and easily digested and put to good use by your body. Don't believe me? Check out the nutrition facts of spinach from www.nutritiondata.com .

Wow, should have looked here before posting about my trainer telling me I need more protein to lose weight. I eat TONS of leafy stuff. Not as much kale just because it's more pricey. So I suppose my trainer is wrong.
Now I have to figure out what helps with more weight loss beyond my 31 pounds. I can't do cardio, like running now, as I have a pulled tendon, calf muscle, ligament or who knows what behind my knee. I 'm babying it too rubbing Sombra, a cream online, on it few times a day.
Take care.
Yippee.......my trainer needs help with protein talk. Thanks.
