as a food processor? Or would I need a seperate food processor. I am looking into getting a vitamix and I have a food processor that I have had for a year or 2 but it is a el-cheap-o one. Advice please

Some things work better in a food processor and some in a Vitamix.
It really depends on what you're making/doing. If you already have one (processor) even if it's a cheap one, it should be fine if it still works! :)

Hmmm. As Rawkin says, some work well for both. Thing is, green smoothies need a good blender. Too wet for a food processor. Other things might be too dry for the Vita Mix. I've had some recipes say to put things in the VitaMix and my ol' VM just stopped moving. Put the goop in the processor and movin' on!
