Do many of you put the pulp from your juicer in your smoothies?? I've heard a few people on this site mention freezing the pulp and adding it to their smoothies. I know this sounds silly but I was wondering if pulp-y smoothies taste good? (I'm sure onion pulp would not taste very good but you know what I'm saying). I don't like throwing the pulp away.

just getting back into this.. was in hibernation for a while!! :)
due to a little injury
when,..... i was juicing and doing the green smoothies.. would add just about anything.. all sorts of combinations.
if i did add some onion or something strong like beet, garlic, etc.. it would be a small sliver (just to make sure i was getting the nutrients...)
as long as it is combined with some fruit to off set it.. you won't at all notice the onion/ garlic..
i would juice.. or just start with the blender for the green smoothie
typical would be some sort of green = handful of spinach or kale
parsley, sliver of beet, celery stick, carrot stick, and either an apple or pear.
if you are throwing it all in the blender, most add a banana and possibly a date or two.
once blended.. along with the fruit it has a wonderful taste!!
just improvise... you'll find all sorts of combinations that are yummy!!:p

I just put Everything in the Vita-Mix and it blends it and I have a Smoothie. Then I blend the peel and what is left to make a smoothie for my plants outside.........

Other than oranges, I don't juice yet, I do put the pulp from the oranges into my smoothie.
I don't see why not to put pulp from other juices in the smoothie. Makes sense to me.
