View Full Version : What to eat for an active lifestyle

Hi everyone,

I have a feeling this has been asked before. I have a very active lifestyle and I want to make sure I am eating enough various nutrients to maintain my energy level. I would like to know what athletes who are on a raw food diet are eating every day, especially how much? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Alissa, works out everyday and is extremely active, you can check in her book to see what she eats, or you can PM her.

Dr. Doug Graham has an excellent book, "On Nutrition and Athletic Performance" which is really helpful.

He recommends LOTS of fruit!

GREENS ,GREENS ,GREENS and GREENS! :D

but along with that fruit (of course), nuts if your ok w/ the fat,and maybe sprouted beans for sustained energy...
