soaked oat groats bitter ?!

Dear Raw Family!!

I made oat raisin cookies with soaked/ sprouted oat groats ( 48 hours) and the texture was great, but the cookies were bitter from the oat groats. Did I make something wrong?? Any ideas?? Thank you :)

Did you refrigerate the oat groats while you were soaking them? I soak mine for breakfast, but I always leave them in the fridge. That's the only thing I can think of.

did you rinse them? I forgot to rinse mine one morning for breakfast and it was soooo bitter and nasty :(

I did not put it in the fridge and I didn't rinse. I'm sure rinsing will help!! I will try that :D :D
