I would like to know where to get the following ingredients for adding to my smoothies:

- MSM Powder (I see many different priced ones)
- Sprirulina
- Maca powder.
- Hemp powder.

The average price would be good too and how long they last.

Are there other super foods to add? Besides of greens and fruits, I add Wheatgrass with a huge ingredients list, goji berries and sprouted lentils.
Does adding too much superfoods at one smoothie can become dangerous? Like too much vitamins? I'm planning also to get green smoothie at lunch time within the week days (as I'm so busy) and then, on the dinner get most of my fats with nuts, avocados and all the stuff.

Thanks!!!1

well, you can purchase online or you can prolly find most if not all those things at a health food store. do you live in chicago? if so, you'll have no problem, just go to whole foods and talk with one of the folks in the whole body/supplement section, they'll point you in the right direction.

btw, you definitely do not want to add msm to your smoothie-do people do this? it's got a very overpowering taste and is usually recommended to just take with lots of water. i've also heard it's best taken with some vitamin c-like fresh orange juice.

yes, there are plenty of other superfoods to add-things like: cacao, mesquite, coconut oil, bee pollen...just some of my favorites.

i personally can't get enough of my superfoods. however, they do tend to speed up detox sometimes, so i'd take it easy with your dosage when beginning anything new.

I've been a month on these and I've been vegan for one year without eating a lot of junkfood.

Did not know about mesquite. I will look for it.

:) I eat mesquite by the spoonful - straight out of the jar in powder form :)

I LOVE it - I really don't like the taste of that or bee pollen mixed with anything. It's just fine and yummy in it's pure form for me :)
