hey, i'm going to seattle and vancouver bc next week. anything in particular i should check out food-wise while i'm there? (or anything in general too but i wanted to stay on topic :D )

i see from your profile that you are a democratic school teacher. You might be interested in visiting Windsor House, where my daughter attends.

oooh. :) thank you. my web searches for vancouver brought up all raw food places for pets! i'll definitely check this out.

Madison Market in downtown seattle has a small raw food area and a great juice bar=)
Dalene's is excellent, and Nature's Pantry has a raw food chef on site 11-2 Mon- Fri.
Raw Vegan Source is off the beaten track but if you are willing to call, make an appointment, pay the 20 or 25 dollar coop fee, they have some great prices on raw stuffs like cocao and nuts.
