Hi guys,

Since Ive been away from this board I've been in school and working part time. Over the last year and half Ive gained back at least 20-25 pounds :( and Im determined to find a balance with my diet, and school. I have realized it cant be one or the other--it prolongs crises mode for me. If I dont find a balance now, its likely I never will--or atleast Im delaying the inevitable.

I think the "shock and awe" of going to college has finally evened out a bit-although the class material is still often intimidating to tackle, I've found that I simply have to make myself stop and do something else. so yay, here i am stationary, writing here, but its an improvement to be even thinking about healthy eating right now.

I have all these great clothes that I cant fit into anymore. I have about three pairs of clothes that I embarrassingly rotate. I want to wear my "sexy" jeans and feel "pertty" again. dang it!!! I worked so hard to get there. what if its not possible to do it again?

Anybody have any suggestions to help me reorganize my neglectful lifestyle? Here's what my lifestyles like if that helps you be creative: Married, no kids, school 9am-noon. Work 'til 5:00pm. home by 6 pm usually. normally I come home exhausted and nap, then study 'til bedtime.

breaky is oatmeal with goji berries and soy milk,
snacks: raw nuts
lunch lately is a smoothie
dinner: noshy stuff: crackers, hummus.

This is highly pared down actually! I think my body must be trying to transition. I was eating up to a month ago lots of bars, even lara bars, but mostly cooked, things with added sugar, and lots of grains, rice at dinner or lunch with other stuff.

Maybe my body wants a break, a good cleanse? Just worried about getting weak and not being able to maintain. Anyway, Ive blabbed enough. Thanks for any consideration you give my questions above. Its nice to be back.

how about adding in another green smoothie for breakfast and then having a nice kale salad in the fridge for when you get home?

i make mine up, enough for three days... then i just grab a plate and pile on the kale salad, cut up come cucumbers and vine ripened cherry tomatoes and pig out!!!

i bet that'll help you! - then even if you eat some cooked... you have a LOT of nutrients in your daily diet.
