I finally broke down and bought some of these, expensive though they are. My opnion of them is... Not worth the money. They seem odd in texture. Some are hard and some are softer. Not exactly crunchy like they were purported to be. They don't taste like peanuts to me and in fact seem to have very little flavor at all. It doesn't really bother me to eat them but I can't say I like them either. If they were purported to be some kind of super food, I would make an effort to eat them. But they're not. So I doubt I will buy them again.

I bought some as well when I forst went raw and did not care for them..however, they are great in my trail mix for a crunchy texture. Mixed with all my other stuffs they are fine...I am glad I found a use for them, they are pricey=)
I do however LOVE mulberries, wish I could find them fresh!

Jungle peanut butter was the same. $25 for the jar.. and not worth it. I mean, healthwise, they are definitely better than regular peanut butter since they have no aflatoxin.. but i'm just not a fan for that price.
Mulberries on the other hand.. YUM!!!

I have never heard of them....but there is a Mulberry Tree 2 Streets from me that I haven't raided yet, I forget about it until after the fact. I think I should have a talk with the owners before the crop ripens.....

It's been interesting to have friends and neighbors call and ask if I'd like this or that because they don't use it. I have a friend with a wonderful walnut tree and another just called me and said that they were getting the ground for their garden ready and realized that they had a bunch of volunteer spinach come up and wanted to know if I'd like it....lets just say that I had the last of it yesterday. Now, if I could just find someone with a mullberry tree....yum.

I just bought a small package of cacao covered jungle peanuts...
and BIG THUMBS DOWN!
They taste just like raw peanuts--which is gross! :( VERY disappointing--ESP since I've been so excited to eat peanuts
