New from Florida

Hello everyone! My name is Susan and I have been vegetarian for 18 years, vegan for 6, and am now starting the transition to raw. I am not sure how I got to this place, I guess there is just an inner voice that tells me I need to get healthy and the only way to do that is through food. I went vegan to get healthy - I had migraines every other day and was on some serious medications and my husband was afraid I would become addicted to pain killers. So then I decided to give up the drugs and dairy and eggs. 3 days after that and to this day, I have not had another migraine. I are pretty good for a year or so, then found the wonderful vegan junk food sections at every natural food store. I now (and still) have a couple of hormonal issues that I want to resolve and cure so I hope to do that by going raw. I also have a 1 yo son and want to be as healthy as I can so I can enjoy the most out of my time with him.
