Hello from San Francisco

So a little bit about me...

I have three dogs (one who would prefer a diet of raw fruit and veg only)...
I am learning french and love to uncook :)

I will begin starting my raw journey on Monday and would like to join the May group.

I tried raw about a year ago and failed at it (to many crazy recipes). I ran across Alissa's book and fell in love with the simplicity of the diet. This is when I decided to go at this full tilt.

I look forward to emeeting you all and the support I will receive from this board.

Have you read about Ani Phyo's dog.....I'm sure you'd find it very fun and interesting. Oh, you mentioned loving Alissa's book because of the simplicity....the DVD is great also, she talks to a couple of women while she prepares some of her raw recipes. The things she makes are soooo quick and easy, it really inspires you to watch her.

I live in South San Francisco! I am Carly, homeschoooling, overweight, prediabetic mom of 2! I started this about a week ago, expected myself to be 100% perfect and have had ups and downs, so I am going to ease into this lifestyle from now on....Welcome and good luck!

Also, i have been feeding my chihuahua ani's raw vegan dog food and he loves it. He was already a vegan doggie and I did not think he could be any healthier but boy was i wrong. He has mega energy now... :)

I was just in SF aweek ago on vacation and I loved it! Be sure to check out the Farmers market at the Ferry building on Tuesdays and Saturdays, there were several faw food vendors there.
