Sea vegetables are my favorite food...I eat them dry, or sometimes I soak them. I especially love wakame and nori....yum!
My favorites come from www.loveseaweed.com

i ADORE seaweed
this last time i got some from chinatown in Chicago.. i've been doubting how raw it is.... but it's black -not green.. isn't that one of the indicators that it's NOT toasted? anyway it was unbelievably cheap and i'm super excited to try it!

I feel so silly -- I've been using a little bit of wakame in my smoothies, not for taste but just for the minerals. It wasn't until today that I finally just ate a little piece alone, and it's really good! It's the dried kind, and has a great salty taste -- perfect for salads, NOT good for smoothies. Nice and crunchy, too, right out of the package.
