Today is my birthday

Today is my birthday. I am now 18, legally an adult. My mom came and shoved the cat in my face to say happy birthday. The cat seemed none to happy. I am celebrating with a glass of wild grass / wild peppermint / aloe vera juice. All of my juice ingredients were grown in the backyard, except for the aloe vera, which I'm growing in a pot in my house. ;)

Anyways, I really want to celebrate how far I've come with raw. This year, I have learned how to take care of myself and to love myself, which is the most growing up I've done in a long time.

Of course, I'm still growing and learning everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sigh* if only I had been born yesterday. Earth day is my real birthday, because I love the earth!

Wow, sorry it's belated but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! My 18th was a fun one. "I can vote, play the lotto, get married, buy cigarettes :eek: , buy a house, join the army :mad: , have legal sex :D, and call for all those things you must be 18-years or older to call for!" lol It's nice to have a choice. I had to google this "indigo" thing because I'd never heard of it before.
From wikipedia:
According to New Age beliefs Indigo children are highly sensitive with a clear sense of self-definition and a strong feeling that they need to make a significant difference in the world. They are empathic and can easily detect or are in tune with the thoughts of others, and are naturally drawn to matters concerning mysteries, spirituality, the paranormal and the occult, while opposing unquestioned authority and contradictory to convention. They are also said to feel a strong sense of entitlement. Some beliefs hold that they are often labeled with the psychiatric diagnoses of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and also Autism, and that they become unsociable when not around other Indigo Children. They are also believed to be prone to depression and sleep disorders such as insomnia and persistent nightmares.

I'm not really into all this New Age stuff, but I have to say that the above description matches me perfectly! Maybe there's some truth to it. I was diagnosed with a non-verbal learning disorder (a really mild version of autism) when I was a kid. So strange how it matches perfectly.
