I cheated the other day and got a SAD 2 lbs, 2000 calorie deep dish pizza I ate to myself in 20 minutes. Just now I realized, it should be possible to make a raw version.

My pie crust recipes are normally nuts processed with dates pressed in a pie pan (no dehydration), but this wouldn't go too well with a pizza. How could I make a non sweet, but also non dehydrated pizza pie crust? All I'd need is an alternative to the dates that's not so sweet and would go well with pizza.

Once we can find a solution to that the rest should be simple.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Brazil nut flour with olives. MAybe

OR try making small pizza rounds using marinated eggplant circles then load with toppings

Hello there,

Tonight I made a pizza with a portbello mushroom as base-marnaria sauce (raw of course) nutritional yeast next as cheese-then I toppings of onion and green pepper. I know you are looking for more of a pizza like crust, but I thought I would share.

Use powdered flax seeds blended with olive oil and walnuts. And of course, some salt, oregano and garlic for flavor.
