did a raw 'un-cookery' show !!
I think the food network needs an un-cook program on. Alissa would be great for that...she has the personality and the looks and i think she would be a BIG hit!
I bet when people see how easy it is to eat raw and how lovely the recipes look they will be wanting to try it themselves.
Does anyone have any connections at the Food Network in NYC ???
I think its time for a good RAW food program !

I agree!! I was thinking down those same lines. My mom and my husband both love to watch cooking shows. Me naw, I find them almost irritating LOL but hey,b if there was an uncooking show..... now that would be fun and interesting!! :D

I don't know, there's only so many raw recipes and most people seem to simplify and do less recipes as they eat raw longer so you'd be losing your audience as they got more successful at raw eating. The better the show sold a raw diet, the more the producers would be working themselves out of a job. Beyond Alissa's DVD, I'm not sure there's a lot more to say or show. Not if it was a weekly show, anyway.

Just as in any show, one would get newer viewers. Just as there are new members here asking the same questions, over again ~ the shows could be done over and over again. Go into reruns after the first 6 weeks. :)

thats interesting i never thought of it that way but i think that if there is a 'cooking' show like that...there will always be people watching for tips on how to make things. lots of chefs have books out and they still have their shows...people have taste buds and i think that easy to prepare tasty things are always of interest.
I think simplicity is nice but i like to have variety and i like to watch other peoples ideas. PLUS...the fact that most people have no idea how to make food for this diet would bring a good sized audience.
thats only my guess of course....but you never know.
AND.. Alissa is very good at what she does. I have only seen her commercial but she looks great and i think would hold the interest of the viewers.
it would be interesting...thats for sure.

LOL!!!!
I was thinking about a raw version of iron chef lately ....
If you havent seen it , its a competion ,where there are 4 chosen iron chefs of different cuisine (japanese, italian ,french....) and challengers (other chefs or resturant owners) compete in the kitchen stadium (super ,hight tec ,identical kitchens ) and have 60 min. to complete 3-6 meals . Then judges rate the food and a winner is chosen, the ONLY problem would be......
LOL ,that the competitors would be needing more than 60 min. ,and I could just see them dehydrating for hours ,and reading ,taking naps -lol it would be SO silly :p

I am a new raw food person. I started March 8, 2005 and have lost many nagging ailments as well as 50 lbs. I would love to see a raw food cook show and I know it would be very successful.
