Sprouting

I'm trying to sprout some barley, so far after about 5 days, only about 5 pieces have actually sprouted. Am I doing something wrong? :confused:

If it doesn't have hulls, it's suppose to be sprouted for 24 hours and eaten as a grain. It does not sprout well hulless. If it does have hulls, it should have sprouted very nicely by now. Could be something you're doing or the grain is old.

Thanks, I think they must have been old. The alfalfa sprouts sprouted great and the wheat berries are also doing great.
