So glad that Monday is finally here and that all I absolutely have to get done is the laundry and supper for my husband. I am doing a water fast today and will see how I feel as it goes along. I started the morning with a SWF. So far it doesn't seem to be doing much to my innards. (the SWF, I mean). I'd like to see what the results are from the water fast and then I should know how long I can do this. I haven't a clue now. I sure like the idea that it will get me into Ketosis and I will burn up my fat and the toxins in it. I feel so strongly that I have to "clean up" inside - get rid of those two fiends - caffeine and sugar who I have allowed to destroy my health and probably a lot of my sanity. In the meantime I am going to keep reading Star's blog and some others and go over Alissa's beautiful book too. I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place. Maybe this place is just for questions? :)
hehe. i think you are posting in the right place. :) goodluck with your fast!

Thanks oai - I know this section is for "fasting" - I guess I just felt that I didn't really have anything particularly important to say and that maybe I should have just put it in my blog.
well perhaps. i'm not much of a forum blog reader. so i wouldn't have seen it. :)

Thanks oceanee - and I just LOVE your name. That is my most favorite place in the world to be - by the ocean. If, no, WHEN, I feel strong and healthy and slim next summer or maybe this fall, then I will find a way to get to the ocean for a rest.

Ahhhh, yes the sea! I would live on a remote island if I could - for now I am close to the Gulf and live on a canal where I watched an alligator swim along this morning. Still way too many people around but I share !
I hope you get a joyous rest soon and I can attest to the sea being the greatest healer of all !
