Talks are beginning for talk of a raw restaurant in Boulder, CO. Our first meeting coming up and the "dreamer" (another person) is believing for it to be community owned. Stay tuned. There is excitement in the air for this to spread to other locations too. Plans to always pray over the food being made and served.

Rawlucks have been going on for years here with great attendance. Let me know if you are coming our way so that I can see about organizing a rawluck when you are here. I need advance notice generally.

I think that's just great. Perhaps one of these day this slow-pokey mid-west region that I live in will get into gear and we'll see more people opening up places and do similiar things here....

There are so many Standard American Diet restaurants and fast-food places sprouting up (as if there wasn't enough) that it almost seems as if they are going to outnumber other businesses at this rate....

That is so great to hear! There are not enough raw restaurant choices around here.

How can I get notification of the rawlucks in Boulder? I would love to come up and join everyone for a good time.

hey carolg!

i am contemplating returning to boulder for work, relocating...
i lived in the area about 10 years ago...

wondering about the raw community there and anything in general relating to raw life in boulder. also, I'm VERY INTO the idea of being a part of the creation of a new raw restaurant! i also have a friend who is a master raw-chocolate alchemist and would probably be available to be supportive in the manifestation. i'll keep you updated on the possibility of my return....

additionally, any eco-terrific home/housing you know of right downtown or in easy pedestrian-friendly access to all boulder?

thanks so much for your info!
blessings!!
Leslie.

Hi Carolg,

Great to hear this about Boulder. I'm contemplating a possible relocation there... and lived there once 11 years ago. Is the raw community large? Would love to know more! Anything else related to being raw in Boulder would be great, too! I know Brigitte Marrs is there, and that's a blessing!

Also, do you know of any little eco-housing or great healthy cooperative living spaces in the area?

THANKS SO MUCH!
L

Boulder is a great place to live or be close too. I live a few minutes away, but still quick ride there.

We may not have a raw restaurant yet, but lots of things going on all the time. Rawlucks we have 2x week only.

HI All,
Sorry computer acting up so didn't see messages. To join the group:

www.egroups.com
Boulder Raw

We have hikes happenings, raw classes mainly by Brigitte Mars, and a monthly restaurant update rawluck too in addition to my two that I put the word out.

Restaurant is still in works. google: Breath of Oasis

It should be opening downtown in about 3 weeks or so. They are tlaking donation basis only. Meetings happening. Will be involved of course.

Craigslist.com best place to find place; Anna's list or place is another place to post.

Email me directly if you wish more info. about Boulder for housing, etc.

If people from out of town plan to visit, let me know in advance and I'll plan rawluck.

Everyone well.

I am not in Boulder, but Broomfield/Westminster area--close by regardless.

Leslie,
Housing should be no problem. Email me privately if wish.

All can post here and will be better at looking. You all can tell me to get back.

I do check daily, but sometimes miss something.

I got a sweet note from a new person who went to our rawluck the other night I put the word out for. It's our ongoing 2x month I send emails out for. "I came to the rawluck for the first time at the BPL last night and had the very best time. Thank you so much for the time and energy you put into the group. I am so impressed (I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed last night as everyone was new to me), what a delightful spirited bunch of people. Oh yeah, the food was remarkable!"

She wrote me privately.

I hope you all can make it here one day and we can have a reunion. I live in a country setting and plenty of room too outside. Maybe depending on how many shows inside too. My dog loves people and is raw.

OT: Next rawluck in Longmont, rare but yearly, 8/23/08. Then outside probably when I get a date for Sept. and then I believe at a Boulder house for another raw in Sept. Probably Oct. one more outside and then moving inside somewhereS as location varies.

Hi Carol,

A friend and I are travelling through the states to get to the Living Light Institute for a festival and are wondering if you are still having potlucks? We are hoping to find raw restaurants all along the way and may be looking for a place to stay too so were VERY excited to see your post. Do you have any recommendations/suggestions/otherwise? We are driving from Toronto Ontario Canada!

Thanks!
Gina
