I have two words for ya..... GREEN SMOOTHIE


I did it!!!!! I made it with juice from oranges and pears, coconut milk, pineapple and spinach...

"dahlin."...it was rawkin'...and if I only I took a pic because my ENTIRE family was circled around our little island in the kitchen with straws and our cups of GREEN SMOOTHIE....all of my little ones slurpin' till the end...."is there more?" they ask....and I am just lovin' mine and couldn't talk because I was busy imagining the ocean and waves and all the nutrients myself and my family just consumed........

I am not sure about the dandilions just yet....but I am tacklin' those milestones and getting more and more ready for my "30 days in May"....WHOOOT!

Congrats on getting little ones to eat/drink ANYTHING green!! I got my granddaughters to drink a banana/almondmilk smoothie, but it wasn't green!

Thanks y'all! the applause is always nice!!! Suzy, I think my kids were apprehensive at first...they saw me put the spinach in the blender...but they also so saw all the yummy fruit. ALSO...we all opened the young coconut together before hand and tried the milk for the first time....when they saw that the coconut milk went in it too...I think they were just very curious at that point!!! "is it good?" "can you taste the spinach" "can you taste the coconut?" .... I have to say we have really enjoyed the "fruits" of this labor!!!! Dare I say this new path in our life is bringing us closer together????? ;):D

Since I couldn't get a taste, I surely would have loved a picture--it's like being a phone call away, but here one picture ONLY. Fabulous. I'm gotta have to try my granddaughter on this "sneaky" treat as she is 3 and in love with spinach. I'm going to call this her Popeye Smoothie. I'm going to start telling her about this as she is in TX and coming to visit us in July. My daughter is having NAET treatments, red-white.net, that includes acupuncturue. My grandbaby is already playing on her doll as if she is giving her acupuncture too. She has seen my daughter with the needles in her and the grandbaby is getting ready for her NAET treatments--a form of allergy elimination without showing signs at the present for the grandb., but the mom tremendously. Great results to the point of normal already on some blood tests confirming that.

At the moment I already had my spinach/banana/mango/lemon drink which was fabulous. I'm onto green salad for breakfast now as I made it earlier and just taste so fabulous. I suppose it's an early brunch or lunch here. Call it what we wish, but tasty to the max. Added to salad, not blended, mixed sea veggies got from friend who thought she was selling me kelp noodles she wanted online, but pressed wrong button obviously.

Carol I like that name...popeye smoothie...that is a keeper!!! Hope all is going well with the family!!!

So glad to have done it...dh asked if I did it today...he is such a great support...but I found that today was just one of the busiest days ever....everytime i went to the kitchen...with the intention to make one...i got side tracked.!!!! crazy day. I managed to get a veggie juice in...i wanted to do a green smoothie for my after lunch snack...never got the lunch. bummer
